Ok, so here's what I was talking about. Our stressful day. My dad came over on friday morning to help us finish the mudding and stuff well he noticed that by the window, the paint and tape was bubbled up. I thought it was probably the dishwasher because we'd already had that leak once. So why not again right?
Well my dad finished what he needed to and he came back saturday afternoon to sand. I went down there with him to get a look at things and much to our suprise we were looking at where he said the he saw the bubbles. Mike said that it looked like it was wet. He felt it and it was wet! Oh great!
So we were wondering if it was the washer, we went and checked the washer and no water! So we checked underneath the sink, No water. Well crap what now? Cut the sheetrock? Yup that's what we did. One square got cut right above the leak and there were the hot and cold water pipes. They weren't wet. But my dad could feel where the water was and it wasn't coming from above, it was coming from a side.
He had the hunch that the leak was coming from the drain. More cutting the sheetrock? Yes that's what happened. So now we have a hole in the ceiling. BOO!! ha ha well when we cut the last square we found where the water was remotely coming from but not the source. We found that the pipe where the water had been leaking down was kinda moldy. GROSS!!! I'm discusted now. So we go back upstairs and look where the pipe goes.
Come to find out it goes behind the lazy susan. Oy!! So we had to take the lazy susan apart. The fun that was! So now we have the lazy susan apart all over our kitchen. Fun stuff. My dad had to cut a little bit of the sheetrock away from the pipe so that he could feel around it and see if he could find a leak anywhere.
much to our suprise he found a four inch crack in the pipe, and another one around the back that you obviously couldn't see. This is FANTASTIC news!! I'm jumping for joy! NOT! We have to replace a pipe now! I'm not excited at all!
So we were going to go to lowes and get the stuff to do it but we figured we have a warrenty on our house for a year and I can't tell you how much it has saved our rear ends! Needless to say we're extending the warrenty before it ends. So we put a claim into the warrenty place and they are sending someone out to fix it either monday or tuesday.
Our kitchen is a mess and it's is annoying me. We can't use our kitchen sink or our dishwasher because the dain is cracked so it would just make the matter worse. It is very inconvinient for us. But all I have to say is it's a good thing that I don't cook. Ha ha.
So that was our fun saturday afternoon! Here's some advice for future home owners: purchase a warrenty on your house before you buy it, it saves you so much money!

OYYY!!!! What a day!! I can't even begin to explain how I feel right now I have pictures and then you'll just see how I feel. I'll post them up tomorrow!

Ok, so after all AVATAR was a really good movie!! It was awesome! We are planning on buying it when it comes out! I was skeptical about it because I didn't know what it was about. Mike said it was up there with Batman and Transformers. I totally agree.

So today we went shooting at Lakeview Gun range in bountiful. It was a ton of fun, Mark my brother in law went and then Mike and I were the other ones there. I shot my 9mm for the first time and it was so much fun! I have shot the exact same gun but it wasn't mine ha ha. I had fun and I even hit the bulls eye! Yay, go me! Mark was practicing for his hunters edu. class. He did very well I thought. It was cool to see the fog roll up the hill where we were at. It would just come rolling up the hill. You could see above the fog really well and I wish I would have taken a picture of it. On our way home from shooting, we stopped at the davis conference gun show! It was packed! There were so many people there. It was crazy! It was fun to look at all of the guns and the ammo and stuff but other then that it was just ok. We were just about to walk out and I saw the CUTEST candle warmer!! It was a MOOSE one!! So Mike let me get it, He's so nice! Even though I have one already, he said that I could lol. I got two new sents and one of them it called SKINNY DIPPING it smells soooo Good!! Yummy! So we went to the gun show and we didn't get a gun we cot sentsy stuff!! Ha ha! So now were at the in laws (Mike's Parents House) and I think that we might go home really quick so I can clean up the basement so my dad can put another coat of mud on the wall and then we'll be done with the mudding and taping and then we can just clean up and be ready to paint and get the floor in. As far as that goes I think that I have changed my mind again on the Colors that I am going to paint the salon. I think thast I am going to paint it a purple color, for the accent wall, and then do like a tan for the other walls just so theres not a ton of color! ha ha hopefully it'll be really cute! I hope! But we have floor for the salon and for the kitchen they'll be the same floor and then we got wood flooring for the entries into the house and those will be the same, that one is a really dark wood. It's really cute! I wish we could afford to do that in the kitchen but it'd be a ton of money because we'd have to order some more flooring because we don't have enought to do the kitchen. Lol. Anyways it'll be cute either way, I just soooo excited that we are redoing our floors because we have like 20 broken tiles in the kitchen and the grout by the front door is coimg out and it's VERY annoying! By the way we are going to see AVATAR tonight and I hope that It's good because I don't really have a wanting to see it, it just doesn't look very good. But on the other hand everyone that has seen it has said it to be really good.

Hey all, I just thought that I'd post yet again lol. So this last week has been really good. The week went by fast, which is nice. Yesterday, Friday I got sick at work, ended up coming home and well being sick with the flu. Mike took really good care of me all night and I appreciated it! I'm feeling better today I haven't thrown up since nine last night. I'm doing pretty well I think. I'm not ready for the weekend to almost be over though. It kind of sucks that the weekend has gone by so fast. BOO!! Ha ha

Just for Cristin

I'm updating our blog just to apease my sister-in-law Cristin. She recently got after me for not having it updated. Hence the post. So here the update.... UPDATE! Ha ha just kidding. Well Mike has decided to take a different path in his career choice. He will be attending the Weber State Police Acadamy in March and he's so excited about it. He's wanted to do this for a while but I was never too fond of the idea, well because it scares me. Ha ha, but now I think I'm at terms with it and I believe that I will be able to deal with it.
He will be working at his current job with America First Credit Union, and will be going to the acadamy at night. Rough I know but I believe it'll be worth it in the end. It'll make for long days and nights. I will help him to get through it though. As for me, I am still working at the day care, doing hair and nails out of our house and am watching our cute niece Paityn.
We are doing really well and we are enjoying life as usual. We have a ton of fun hanging out with our friends. Going to see movies and especially going to arcade places such as toads, nickelcade, and Boondocks. We have so much fun there. So this is our update. Cristin I hope your happy, Ha ha.

Sheetrock is started!!!

Our sheetrock is getting started!!! I'm sooo excited, but their really slow!! It better be done by this weekend, because we're painting!!! Yippie!! I can't even express how excited I am!!! I picked out my colors and they are a dark brown for the accent wall and then the others will be like a turqoise and then the base boards will be a white. It's going to be sooooooo cute!! I'm soooooo excited!!! eeeeee!!!

Very Misc...

So despite much frustration these last couple months, I am Very very happy for all those of you who are pregnant or just had a baby. I need to apologize to those of you who may have felt like I am not happy and excited for you and your families. I am sorry that I would do this. I didn't mean to come off that way at all and I am truly sorry.
Starting a family and having a family is a very very sacred thing and should be welcomed at anytime. Those of you who get the opportunity to be parents again or for the first time are very blessed. Since I've been married, I have more and Morley appreciated the gift of bearing a child. I have had to remind myself that it is a blessing to be able to have children, therefore more appreciating the gift of adoption.
Adoption is the most precious thing a person could ever do. I give props to those of you out there that are able and willing to do this so that others who are not able to have children get the opportunity. I am very grateful for adoption. Especially now that we have a new member in our family because of a mom who made the choice to give her baby a good life. I very much appreciate her for that and love her with all me heart.
To all of you who are unable to have children, my heart goes out to you. I do not know how you feel, or what you are going through, but I do know that it would be hard.
So now that I have apologized and Thanked everyone I will end this post, but I just wanted to let everyone know how much I love and appreciate them, even though I might not show you enough or tell you enough I do.

So many baby showers... geez.

So yesterday I was invited to three baby showers. AHHHH..... Two of them were at the same time and the other was at one. So I dropped off a gift to one, and then headed up to brigham city to the other. Come to find out it was pretty much corrine (that far north) but it was east of I15 intead of west so it was brigham.... geez. So I went to that one with one of my friends who is also pregnant, (by the way she is like 6 months and doesn't even look like she pregnant!!! What the heck!!) so she was talking about her baby with my friend that was having the shower and I just sat there and listened because I don't have anything in common when it come to that. So we decided that we couldn't stay too long because I needed to be back for my sister-in-laws baby shower and so we left and headed back to roy. I was going to be on time and then I got stopped by two trains so I was like a couple minutes late. Oh well. ha ha so I was the writer of what she got and I wasn't doing a very good job, I had to keep asking who it was from and what she got. I'm bad at this. Then I just decided that I would go down stairs and help eric (my brother-in-law) who was in charge of the food stuff, ha ha. He did a great job. The shower was kinda loud, there was soooooooo many people there, but dannielle made out with bank!! Tonz of clothes and Blankets, she got a porta crib/play pen, she got a jump-a-roo, (so cute!), and tons of other things!! It was a great turn out. I'm so excited for them. So I met their birth mother Elisa and she's really nice and I love her so much for giving mark and dannielle this opportunity. I had a good time talking to her. WAY COOL!!! Anyways the shower was over I helped clean up a little bit and then I went home. Awwww.... Time to relax!! Yesterday was all in all a great day. Busy but great!!
