Cute Little Stinker loves to steal keys and chew on them.

Such a little Cheeser   =D

Lover her first two Piggy tails

I put bows on the piggy tails but now you can't
tell if they really is something behind them or not. Still, She's so cute.

Ok, so most of you probably are thinking why in the world do you have a picture of piano keys? Well, This is my parents piano. I guess when My siblings and I were younger we would drop stuff on the keys and since they are ivory they chip a lot. Well they have stayed like that till yesterday. My mom had been saying that she just needed to file down the edges of the keys and then it wouldn't hurt when you played. Well, Mckay LOVES to play the piano (pound on it really), but I hate letting her because the keys were so sharp from being broken. Notice in the picture there isn't sharp edges anymore? This is because "I'M AWESOME!!" Jk. I was at my parents house yesterday and Mckay wanted to play and I let her for a bit but while she was playing she likes to grab your hands and slam them down on the keys well mine were hitting the edges and it hurt a bit. I got fed up with it so I grabbed one of my moms nail files. Yes a nail file and I filed down the edges so they weren't sharp anymore, oh my goodness what a difference it made. My mom came home and I was almost finished, I said I hope you don't mind but they were buggin me so I just did it and you said you wanted to so I did it for you. he he he she was ok with it thank goodness or else I would have been in so so so much trouble lol. So there is the very long explanation of why there is a picture of piano keys on the blog. =D

RSV

Yes you heard me RSV, Mckay has it and it sucks! Luckily it hadn't gotten into her lungs yet so we caught it just in time. Our doctor actually said that every child will get RSV at least 3 to 5 times by the time they are 5 years old. I was really surprised!

I guess it's just a common cold that hasn't spread to your lungs then you'll be okay but if it does then that's when you need to worry.

Mckay has had a runny stuffy nose, clamminess, fever, a cough and she's lost her appetite. It's so scary, but there is not any medicine for RSV seeing how it's virus. All you can do is if it's not in your child's lung is give them Tylenol or Advil for the fever and do a saline spray and suction out their nose.

If it does end up getting into their lungs most likely they will be admitted to the hospital to be given oxygen and have their vitals monitored.

Since she's been sick which has been since Sunday/Monday-ish,She's been really cuddly and just content and just wants loves. I love when she's cuddly like she has been but man, it does make it hard to do anything around the house.

Monday Mike got sick with the stomach flu, so Mckay and I went to my parents house to stay away and hopefully not get sick. Well it worked for me but I think unfortunately Mckay was already sick by that time. She has had a cough for a while but it's now sounding like a croup cough. Its horrible.

She has been sleeping on her boppy at the beginning of the night till she's in a deeper sleep then I'll move her off of it so she can roll around like she likes. Yesterday she couldn't sleep without me holding her to be inclined. It sure made it hard to do ANYTHING!!

I gave her a bath and that kept her entertained for a while but you can only bend over the side of the tub for so long. She loves her bath time though just give her a toy and she's set.

Anyways, The doctor said that RSV lasts about a week, it's at it worst about the 3rd or 4th day, then gets better after that. I'm thinking yesterday was the 3rd or 4th day. She slept tons better last night, I only had to sleep in the rocking chair for three hours instead of 7 1/2, tons better, especially since the rocking chair isn't made to sleep in for that long anyways. Lol.

We're on the mend. I'm crossing my fingers that Mckay will be better by Sunday. We however are not going to be going to church because of her having RSV. Especially since we're in the primary and our kids love to play with Mckay and touch her hands. We're not even going to chance it. Even if she is feeling better we don't want it to come back.

So this has been our week of sickness. I hope to not have to deal with RSV again! I could barely handle it with Mckay, She's so temperamental. It's about enough to drive you nuts! I still love her though so that's what makes it easier to handle.

I haven't been sick so that is a really good thing. If I were to have what Mike had on Monday I would have most likely ended up in the hospital for dehydration. Glad I didn't get sick.

Our baby's name

We have decided to name her Grace and call her Gracie. I just hope that she stays a girl, (seeing as how last time we went to the doctors, the umbilical cord was in between the legs so it was hard to see). Our doctor gave us a word of caution, she said the gender is subject to change because I wasn't able to get a great look but I'm pretty sure your having another girl. :)

I am not going to lie, I was kind of hoping for a little man but I will take Gracie, I'm fine with that. I'm sure she'll  be as sweet as Mckay (crossing my fingers that she'll be just as easy as Mckay has been as well)

If the baby's gender does change, we are in for it. We have no names even agreed on, or thought of. Absolutely Nothing for clothing, I would be doing a ton of shopping at Kid to kid, that's for sure. Either way I love that place, (I used to work there) but other then that you can get AWESOME clothing that hasn't even been worn really for next to nothing!

We are 18 weeks today!! It's crazy to me how fast this pregnancy is going. Maybe because I forget that I'm pregnant at times, or maybe because I've been pregnant before and I'm not such a worry wart with this pregnancy, well, I am but just because it wasn't planned out like it was with Mckay. I'm still excited.

Some days I think to myself "How the heck am I going to do this with two kids???" I have asked my friend that has a three year old and a seven month old how she does it and she's still trying to get the hang of it!! EEK!!! I'm getting more nervous for the fact that I will not only have a baby that will hopefully be walking but yet a baby that isn't as self efficient as Mckay. They rely on you for everything where Mckay is able to hold her bottle and eat regular food. I know it has been done but I am just nervous, excited, anxious, scared. It won't be real until our little baby Gracie gets here.

Sorry I just had to vent a bit. Life is scary at times.

BABIES R US!!!

GREAT DEAL IF YOU NEED TO UPGRADE

My Aunt told me this great deal that Babies-r-us is having this month!!!

Bring in something old such as a Stroller, Crib, big baby equipment and you get 25% off of the purchase of a big item such as the ones you brought in.

With that being said, I took advantage of this opportunity and took in my mom's old stroller and gave her the one I had. I then bought a DOUBLE stroller seeing as how we'll need it. I was really excited because I looked on KSL Classifieds for the double strollers and there just weren't any good ones.

Graco Ready To Grow Stand and Ride Duo Stroller

This is the stroller i'm talking about. It's awesome, I love it, (well as far as I know I haven't had two kids in it yet). Ours is black and lime green. So cute! I took Mckay for a walk in it today for the first time and she sat in the front and loved it! She just sat there and observed the whole time and didn't make a peep! She loves being outside, (this is why we decided to get a double stroller).

This is Mckay after our walk. She had so much fun and we were only out for about 20 minutes. Poor little girl is allergic to the cold. Our doctor said that most of the time they grow out of it. I'm keeping my fingers crossed. My brother is actually allergic to the cold and has to carry around an eppy pin.

<3   (ABOUT TODAY)   <3

It's Valentines Day!! I hope that everyone tells their loved ones that they love them on a constant basis. Today should be "JUST ANOTHER DAY". You should have to put aside a special day to tell someone you love them once a year like you mean it. With that being said I still like Valentines Day.

For this Valentines Day Mike and I went out to dinner with some of our really good friends. Jeremy and Rachelle. It was really fun, Rachelle and I had a girls night on Friday, we wen't to dinner then went and saw "The Vow". It was pretty good. Saturday morning the boys went shooting at the Bountiful range then stopped by the home show. That night we met Jeremy and Rachelle at "The Brick Oven" in Layton. It was pretty good, I was full after my salad. After dinner we went to Tinseltown and saw "Extreemly Loud, Incredibly Close" It was really good and sad. All of the things we did on our date were a surprise to us girls. Dang men think it's funny to surprise us. Mike hates surprises!!

My gift to him: I got him a card holder from Lewis Jewelers, he loved it!
His gift to me: "Crazy Stupid Love" and a gift card to Target, he wanted to get me a bright purse for spring but couldn't find one that he liked so I get to choose! =0
His gift to  Mckay: He got her a sleeper that actually fits her!! YAY!!! Go Daddy!! =)

Mckay is getting so big everyday!! I'm so grateful to have her and Michael in my life! I don't know what I would do or where I would be without them!! I can't imagine life without the people that you love.

It's a.... GIRL!!!

Althrough our doctor said it's subject to change, so as of right now we're having another little girl. Her name will be Grace. We are so excited to have her become a part of this family. For her and Mckay to become the best of friends.

My sister and I are 15 months apart and Mckay and Grace will be a couple days short of 14 months apart (given she comes on her due date). Since Mckay won't be out of her crib by the time Grace gets here we had the OPPORTUNITY to purchase yet another crib. Oh the joys. Since we will be putting each child in their own rooms, we needed to clean and de-junk the room that will be Grace's. Oh my goodness, you think that you don't have a ton of stuff untill you start cleaning and figureing out that most of the things that you have you don't need nor use. Therefore I have made a could trips to the D.I., and tons of items thrown away that weren't needed. I HATE de-junking.

A good things that I did find out was that while going through the process was from a good girl friend and how she saves space when she organizes. She recomended the Space Saver Bags. I can honestly say I'd never even thought of the idea but they are AMAZING! I love them! All 20ish of our blankets and comforters are under our bed, which is probably 6 inches from the floor, crazy I know, but awesome. Also all of Mckay's clothes that she's grown out of, I had in the garage storage bins, one was huge and the other was a normal size bin. All of those clothes are under her crib. Great way to save space for the things that you want to get to easier. I highly recommend them.

Ideas for decorating the nursery.... I'm stuck. I've thought about doing a moose theme or a owl theme, my delema I'm not in love with the owl theme and the moose theme was going to be more for a boy so I would love ideas if any of you have any.

Ok, Subject of Mckay. She's eight months old and getting so smart and the little miss will be walking here anytime. She's gotten to the point where she can hold onto one hand and be steady enough to walk a couple steps. She says da da, it's so cute. She loves it when her daddy comes home. Loves to walk and be outside. She's started a new thing were she whines about everything and it's driving us up the wall. She doesn't cry unless she's super tired she can't stand it. DOES ANYONE ELSE'S CHILDREN HAVE THIS ISSUE? WHAT DID YOU DO? We are going crazy. All she wants to do is walk, she has a walker and loves that.

ME:  This pregnancy has been a breeze compared to when I was pregnant with Mckay. I have only gotten sick once. I am still taking zolfran at night but other then that I have been good. Since I haven't been as sick I was thinking that we were going to have a boy. But for the time being we are having two beautiful girls! =D

MIKE:  He is almost done with his bachelors degree in Health Administration and then next spring he'll start his masters degree at Western Governors University. He's moving up at work and excelling in every way being the best team lead that he can to his team and co-workers. He's an amazing husband and father I couldn't and wouldn't ask for more.

GRACE:  All is going well, She's growing as she should be getting bigger and stronger everyday. She has a great heartbeat and she's actually measuring a week ahead of where she should be. I can't wait to see if her and Mckay will look a like.

Theres our update for now I'll keep posting pictures and try to tell about each of them but if not then I'm sorry. Thanks for reading hope you enjoyed.
